Yes, I did enter an international awards competition once and yes, I did win a nice award for Love Shack. But that’s not why I think of it.
I think of it because it brought me joy. It was the bar that took me from crying in my hands at my desk wondering how I’d ever make good chocolate to laughing as I sprinkled the beautiful mess of candied lemon and pink shortbread as I tempered the bars.
