Tahini is a Magical Place: tahini and date sugar chocolate with caramelized coconut shreds, & salted dark chocolate chunks
If you’ve been there once, you’ll want to go back: 2024 is the year. Long ago and across the seas of craft chocolate time I created a tahini oat milk bar with chocolate chunks; the chunks made me laugh (chocolate as an inclusion?) but the flavor made me dance. For this year I felt a mood swing coming on, so I swapped in date sugar, added caramelized shreds of coconut, and spritzed the dark chocolate with flakes of sea salt.
Gilding the lily? Why not.
